I love this movie and I'm in my 20's. I got this as a christmas present last christmas from an aunt in a two-pack with The secret garden. I love both of them. The actress who played Sara did a wonderful job. I'm surprised she's not very popular.

I'm 23 and I love this movie, and Secret Garden too. I agree that Liesel Matthews did a wonderful job.
I also have the soundtrack, and listen to it all the time.

shareWell I mean I feel like a large majority of this film's fans would probably be in their 20s, because we were kids when the film actually came out. I was seven then, and I still love it at 21.
What Would Leatherface Do?
When I was little, my baby sitter would bring over two movies. This one and The Secret Garden. I still love them both to this day, as they were very much part of my childhood. My mother bought this for me for Christmas when I was 8 or so, and it came with a little locket, just like Sara's. It's strange what you remember...(I'm a month shy of 21, by the way)

The young actress was having some personal problems, from what I read. I cannot recall if it was with family or what but, that may be what discouraged further acting and fame.

Lol. I'm 23, the other day I went to Wal-Mart to pick up a movie for my little cousin and I saw the same one (the two-pack with the Secret Garden in it). I love this movie, it is actually one of my favorite childhood movies, and I also love the Secrets Garden; so I had to buy it.
