Why does Annabelle expect fifty percent of Maverick's winnings?

Maverick gives her $4,000 so she can enter the tournament and says he expects fifty percent if she should win. Then she replies that she expects fifty percent if he wins. Why?

Because woman always acts like they are entitled to our winnings. Throughout the movie she act like she deserves all the money so its not suprise she tried to get all the money.

Anyway Bert said it will be fun to get it back so considering the father son duo they will eventually get it back from her :)))

Because she was an arrogant gash with a sense of entitlement. I would have liked to have seen where Maverick and Coop end up finding her and tossing her insufferable ass over a cliff.

It's fine that she asked, but it's silly that he acted like that she would be entitled to anything from him.
