I don't get why everyone's getting on at people who ask this question. The book might not have alluded to it, but some people do like to wonder what happened next to their favourite characters.
Historically speaking it's definitely unlikely that Mary would have ended up with Dickon because of social class. Anyone who's read 'Wuthering Heights' knows that social status was definitely more important than love. All the same, I wanted her to end up with Dickon when I watched the movie as a teenager - not Colin, because that would've been too weird for me no matter how socially acceptable it was.
