RIP Kevin Conroy

RIP. At least his last Batman game was a good one, not the Gotham Knights disgrace.

Very sad. He was really young, too. One of the all-time best Batman actors ever, all with just his voice.

Very sad news: our beloved voice of Batman, Kevin Conroy, died yesterday. He's been ill for a while but he really put in a lot of time at the cons, to the joy of all of his fans. He will be sorely missed not just by the cast of the series but by his legion of fans all over the world.

Here are pictures of Kevin with Loren Lester who plays Robin another with me and Tara Strong who is in the later episodes of Batman cartoons. And then finally, one of Kevin and me in front of the huge audiences we used to get when we did our panels. RIP, friend. ❤️

Just heard about the passing of Kevin Conroy. I first met Kevin in 1987 ish when we payed fiancés in a film called Killer Instinct. Not a great film by any stretch of the imagination but, I LOVED working with Kevin. I LOVED Kevin. Such a generous, kind, talented, sweet soul. When I was cast at Batgirl in #batmantheanimatedseries I was excited for so many read. Of course, because I’ve been a huge #batfan my whole life but mostly because I was going to work with one of the all time great casts ever. Lead by, my wonderful pal, Kevin, as Batman. That job was one of my very favorites in my 56 year career in no small part, because, once again, I got to work the warm , sweet magical Kevin. My heart aches knowing that I will not hear or see Kevin again but I am so lucky to have known him and worked with him .
