This is a damn good underrated psychological thriller.

I love this film so much to the point where it makes me angry that this movie is purposefully forgotten and overlooked (lol only joking, i'm not angry i'm just passionate about my movies) but the fact that this Flick is ignored and underrated just makes it more special. When films are too popular and hyped up - they're too common, unpopularity is sometimes better.

First, Beverly D' Angelo needed more screentime, it would have been interesting if she'd have moved into the San Fran apartment with Carter.

Second, I know that the actress who plays "Patty" sounds like a 4 year old girl, but you've gotta admit she plays the role of Patty quite well.

Third, i do think that they should have toned down Drake's anger problems, the man was unlikable.

Fourth, P.H is an original, iv'e yet to see other storylines similar to this.

Fifth, it's still an intense Flick to this day.

Iv'e got so much more to say about this Motion Picture, but for now i'll wrap this up and maybe i'll make another post about it soon.

Brilliant 90s Flick

Yeah well don't Bull**** me Carter!

They don't make movies like this anymore.

Love this movie.

Yeah it's good. Dont get thrillers like we had mid 80s-90s now. Or ever again I fear πŸ˜”

it would make no sense for Bev to move in with Carter in San Fran as Carter had easily conned Drake into giving him the apartment,
if you recall, back out in the desert, Bev said that an old man had owned the dwelling before she & Carter swindled him out of ownership... implying that Bev was probably used as a tool to sexually-manipulate the old man before Carter came in to turn everything into a living hell for him

It's a pretty solid thriller with a premise I think should be explored more often. Michael Keaton is the best thing about it.

I agree with you. I think it's a fantastic thriller from that era and Michael Keaton (just coming after his turn at Batman) is the perfect "Bad Guy".

However, this is a movie in a long line of "someone gets fucked over and gets sweet revenge" films. There's "Consenting Adults", "Unlawful Entry", "Ricochet", and even "Disclosure" - all early 90s films with great getting-even themes. But there is definitely something special about Pacific Heights.
