Subway Ghost: Do you think he fell or jumped?

He said he was pushed but by the way he reacted I do not believe that. I figured he either fell or jumped. So what do you think?

"This isn't my house."
"Didn't that movie used to have a war in it?"
"I was saying Boo-urns."

reply

He definitely jumped. In his last scene he "jumps" on a moving train.

While it's possible that he committed suicide, I'm leaning more towards the possibility that he was pushed. Maybe the reason why he's sticking around is because he wants revenge against the person or persons who pushed him, and he is unable to do so.

maybe out of delusion or being irritated by someone it's clear he jumped, in the same way as he reenacted his death.

I think he was pushed, but everyone believed it was a suicide. He is still hanging around becausr he cannot clear his name, so to speak.

It is not our abilities that show who we truly are...it is our choices

I've always thought he jumped because of how unhinged he becomes when Sam asks him who pushed him. The subway ghost is clearly unstable, and I expect he was the same when he was alive. He's still 'living' in fear of the dark spirits, too. Maybe he was a bad person in life, but I've always thought his fear was due to uncertainty about where suicides go in the afterlife.

He was pushed. That's what he was so angry about.

For some reason I love this whole debate on the thread. Some people are adamantly, 100% sure he jumped and the others are sure he was pushed.

I wasn't sure myself. He seemed pretty pissed about it not being his time, which goes towards him being pushed. However all else seemed to point to him probably being mentally ill, maybe paranoid schizophrenic. And so it's likely he felt like he was being chased or pushed but really just jumped himself. That's what I settled on in my mind. So to him, he didn't jump, because he was mentally ill. But in reality he did jump and kill himself. Kind of creepy to think of a mentally ill ghost of a suicide haunting a subway lol.

But who knows? Who knows? I like how dividing it is even on here haha.

Definitely jumped.
