3. "Nuptials Off" . (Season 6, Ep. 23)

I don't know the episode names, so here's descriptions:

1. When Brian thought Faye was murderess he saw on "Fugitives from Justice" program.

2. Lowell moves in the Hackett brothers and turns into Martha Stewart, cooking, cleaning, housekeeping.

3. Worst date - Helen, Joe, Brian, Lowell join video service - Faye suggests they each chip in money into kitty and after dates, get together to decide who has the worst date, that person gets the $$$ They're ready to declare that Joe had the worst date when Brian shows up, drenched in water and yells "That money is MINE!"

"Farewell, Yolanda."

reply

1. Brian thinks Faye is a murderer

2. Joe gets the old lady at the video store fired on xmas eve.

3. The puppet master. That's the episode where Brian hires a actor to be Helens perfect man and also a actor.

There are so many great episodes it's hard to pick three!!

1. Say Uncle, Carlton: Hilarious episode in which all of the cast is showcased fairly well. Gotta laugh at Lowell's bike outfit. The ending is fabulous!

2. What the Cabbie Saw: Love that Antonio seeks refuge at Joe, Brian and Lowell's house from what he thinks is a robber chasing him. "We didn't order no stinking pizza!"

3. Sports and Leisure: "Ann Margret!" Need I say more?

And every cat in the twilight’s gray,
Every possible cat."

Murder She Roast would definitely be my next pick after the top three. Good episode.

1. "The Mother Wore Stripes." Joe and Brian are re-united with their long-missing mother.

2. "The Taming of the Shrew." Helen is still so angry at Joe that she needs group therapy. One the funniest lines I've ever heard in any TV show: "I don't want to play any more!"

3. "Who's Wife Is It Anyway?" Joe follows Helen to New York to try to persuade her to not get married to Davis. He succeeds when he proposes to her. It's the best marriage proposal I've ever seen in a TV show. "Damn it, Helen; when you walked out this morning I felt all the life drain out of me. I sat at that counter and all I could think about is all the years we've known each other, since we were kids. We've already spent a lifetime together. Nobody knows me better than you; nobody knows you better than I do. How can you even think about marrying Lynch? It's wrong! Having kids with him; growing old together. That's our marriage; those are our kids; that's our lifetime. We're supposed to be together. I love you, Helen."

Great choices.

For me, your favorite eps. #1 and #3 have two of the greatest performances Tim Daly ever gave on the show (with his explosion at the very end of Jow Blows - Part I right up there with them).

When Helen and Joe fight with the grease gun and the fire extinguisher.
When Helen and Joe fight with the pork chops. (Best most passionate screen kiss I have ever seen...)
Brian with an I -- Tim Daly's sister Tyne blew me away in that episode.
