Most episodes follow the same formula

Don't get me wrong, it's a great series. But having seen most of the 20 seasons of episodes I've found the formula that most follow:
1. a couple is about to engage in coitus, but then they are interuptus by a dead body. Or workers, kids, etc. look behind a dumpster and voila---corpse and gore galore!
2. A cop 10 times sharper than the real ones (Lenny) makes a funny.
3. The ME no one can stand makes some sarcastic dead body jokes.'
4. A cop 10 times hotter than the real ones (Cassady) arrests the wrong dude.
5. An ADA 100 times hotter than the real ones (Serena) finds the real one, threatens the innocent one so he/she will testify.
6. Plea deal 25 to life.
7. Serena is fired for being a Lezzy

The biggest issue for me so far, as I’m watching the series for the first time in 2021, is that every episode ends happily ever after: justice always gets served. I prefer how SVU has a mixture of happy endings and unhappy endings

I remember an episode regarding a dead baby and the defendants were found not guilty.

Another when they went after an unorthodox doctor and he also walked.

There was another where a DA ended up dead.

The first guy brought in for interrogation is never the perp.

True, and often he/she goes to trial and only later they find it's the wrong one.

For me, it just started to seem like the ME does most of the crime solving and the rest of the episode is dramatic filler.
