This is a fantastic film. The chemistry between those two has been wonderful. What i find to bad is that no one ever thought of making a sequel. I think it would have been great. Teri Hatcher was beautiful in this film. Very young and hot. Still this film will be in my top 20 forever...!

It works out too, Tango & Cash came out in '89? Hatcher and Kurt's characters could get married and have a kid 2-3 years later, making him in his late 20s today.
Well considering both these guys were in Guardians of the Galaxy, you could consider that like a loose sequel

they say in 90s this man finish as action star and sly say "i retire from action film". well expendables prove age does not matter for kicking vegan soy ass. he look just as convincing in those film as he was in 80s.
yes they should have made action sequel but this was 80s and in 90s action movies go in decline so that put end to sequel.
expendables revitalize action cinema but kurt russell is subborn and does not want to do action sequels he tell sly himself as sly ask kurt to be in expendables but he say no, so kurt would not do tango and cash by using logic.
Huge production issues on Tango & Cash. Directors being replaced , rehired, fired and asked to leave the set. Script issued , rewrites, more comedy , more cation.
When it came time for Tango & Cash 2 Stallone wanted too much money and Warner Bros. terminated the project. His ego ended the project.
Rocky V, Lock Up & Oscar did not make any money. Followed by Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.
yes did you notice katherine tango is introduced at start of film and then she just vanish? she not even at ray tango's trial! that mean there is editing/scripts issue.
lucky the film was saved by legend editor stuart baird. he did great jobs on this film.
Part of the problem with Katherine Tango is that the original actress who played her was fired, so they probably didn't want to go through with reshooting all the scenes (especially with the rewrites).

boam is very good writer. he write 80s masterpeaces innerspace and lost boys. he also write chevy chase's best comedy - funny farms. very sad he die young, very talent man. hollywood does not have talent writer like him anymore.
in regard to teri hatcher - i think she look like she could be sly's sister even though she is 18 year younger than him hahahahahahah. she was ok in this. good chemistry with goats sly and kurt.
