Did anybody actually see this in the theater?
If so, what did you think?
shareI saw it in the theater. I thought it was okay. Definitely not as good as the first two. I wasn't really buying into Mike Barnes as a big threat. I felt like if Daniel could beat Chozen in a death match, then he could easily have beaten Mike Barnes.
shareHe got complacent after beating Chozen and let his diet go to shit.
shareI saw kk3 in the weekend it came out that saturday afternoon with my mom.I wanted to see ghostbusters 2 but it was sold out so saw kk3 instead.I enjoyed it and loved the song listen to your heart!its a guilty pleasure for me karate kid 3
shareI saw it at the time.
I was looking forward to it, but was kind of let down. I didn't see it again until a few years ago when they first announced Kobra Kai.
I saw Batman, Indiana Jones Last Crusade, Star Trek V, BTTF2 and GB2 that year ..there was also Lethal Weapon 2 and Bond (I was too young to see them as were cert 15)
I remember seeing the poster for KK3 in the theatre lobby and feeling quite sad for it amongst all these cool must see movies
The public got bamboozled by their ad campaigns while missing out on the real gem of the ‘89 season. The passage of time has proven KKIII to be the superior, more influential film.
shareYup, those were the days when you could go to a theater and not worry about Covid
