The film scenery and cinematography makes me think of 'Blade Runner'

Makes sense, since both films were directed by Ridley Scott. I don't know, I just get the same vibe location wise that I do in viewing "Blade Runner".

A stylized, visually striking film (obviously nowhere near as stunning Scott's best) set in Japan and it's directed by Ridley Scott? Of course you'll be reminded of his '82 masterpiece.
