How in the hell did the this movie get 4.6 out of 10????? Honestly, I understand this is no Godfather but it's an ACTION MOVIE!!!! It's not meant to be dramatic, it meant to be entertaining!!! And I can't see how this movie would bore anybody, the actions is amazing! So what's the deal?

A lot of movie snobs rate these old action movies low. There is no way any iconic movie like this is below a 6. I wouldnt pay much attention to the ratings system on imdb. Great info though.

I also don't believe it! After the first 30 min, the action is unrelenting. The climax is an all-out war. There isn't that much of this made nowadays. A classic of the "blow everything up" genre.

Every movie here is judged upon a comparison of ALL movies.
Movie wise: 5 is acceptable rating
Action movie wise: 8 easily, it's good for the genre it's in.
But that doesn't mean it's a good movie. It's just good for what it is, nothing more.

Rambo 3 is definitely the worst out of all 4, but it doesn't mean it's horrible. At least AT LEAST deserves a 6/10.
shareI think it's pretty easy to see why most people have been regarding this film the best of the series since it came out. It's by far the truest and most artistic Rambo film that was at the time extremely important for the people in the Mid East, Africa and China to stand up against the oppression, no wonder the cultural relevance of this film still can be felt and witnessed in that part of the world even today, those who live and travel over there very much know what i'm talking about. I think this universal impact and wide ideological influence is something the 1st and 4th Rambo film have unfortunately never achieved so far in the world, which might explain why they seem to be the least known films of the series to the general public.

I almost fell asleep during the movie, and i had drank 2 coffees before watching it. It says a lot about how I enjoyed the movie. I gave it 4/10.
Actually most people are wrong. This is actually the only Rambo film that is meant to be more than just entertaining, because of the subtlety the viewer is supposed to see things that are not on screen. So i don't wonder you fell asleep. lol

sharei thought all 4 rambo movies were different from eachother, yet they were all equally as great, i cant think of a more entertaining quadrilogy than this rambo series, absolutely spectacular, without a doubt the best action-series ever, a 4.6 rating is just sheer stupidity, whoever gave any of these movies a rating below 7 should be shot right thru the heart with a bow&arrow!

Im just watching all 4 at the moment' i'm on 3 at the moment. I think 3 is easily the weakest out of the bunch. I dont know why but the film bores me even though it is action packed I cant put my finger on what the problem is. I would rate it a 6.5 the other three all get a 10. I know they arent the Godfather but they give me an enjoyment factor of 10.

I thougt this movie was just boring. It was kind of interesting during the first 30 or 40 minutes but once the action starts, the plot completely disappears from the movie. The action was neither suspenseful or entertaining. I didn't care very much for the characters. It also felt like it was an anti-soviet propaganda. It gets a 4/10 from me.

There are plenty of actions and events once the "action" starts.
i give it 8..because i watched today again after many years and seriously blew my head away, *beep* amazing movie IMO!
