What's the name of the monster in your language? In Polish we call it "Dynioglowy" which literally means "pumpkin headed".

shareIn Spain the movie was titled "Pacto de Sangre" (Agreement of blood) and the creature was named "Cabezón" (Big Head) to use a single word like in English and not more because Spanish for Pumpkinhead is "Cabeza de Calabaza".

shareI don't think the Japanese have a native word for pumpkin, they have kabocha, which is actually a sort of green Asian squash, so maybe they'd make a portmanteau like they did with Gojira, which is derived from the words for gorilla (Gorira) and whale (kujira)...so I don't know. They'd probably just call it revenge demon, oni ga fukushu o suru or somethng... ;-)
