most under-rated flick all-time

this movie is like 20+ years old now
and ive seen it like 20+ times now
and it NEVER gets old or stale or loses its appeal

i watch it like once a year or when one of its classic lines
pops into my head

off the top of my head this movie's running time is 2 hours say 120 minutes
and im proposing there're at least 120 classic lines in it
my todo list im giving myself is to write down chronologically
w/ a time stamp too
every one of those lines
well i'll get to it that eventually - i hope
and it will be a fun labor of love

in the meantime please let me just say ...
i LOVE this movie

AND reading its message board
t/y to everyone who's participated - and continues to too - in it

ill end this w/ what i know will be #120

120. 'looks like im walkin'

If by underrated, you mean one of the best movies of all time that almost nobody ever heard of, I'd have to agree!

It should be against the law to use 'LOL'; unless you really did LOL!

Cool.

I am quite agreeable with your views.

Score is very underrated.

I concur. This is definitely my favorite movie of all time. It's stood the test of time and the replay value is there b/c the jokes aren't really jokes, we're laughing at the actors' emotions and reactions.

An R rating pretty much just for the cussing. I will definitely share this movie with my sons when they get a little older. No need to worry about feeling uncomfortable with any awkward nudity, sex, or drug scenes.

Agreed - I watch it about once a year, too. It was an instant classic in my mind the first time I ever saw it.

You're about to have fist-o-phobia! lol

You're about to suffer from fist-o-phobia! lol

It is pretty underrated, always wondered how it would look if Robin Williams had started in it along with De Niro. Perhaps it would have more fame.

I always assumed this movie was popular! It's on right now and I've also seen it countless times. I'm mad I missed one of my favorite lines "if you don't shut up, you're going to suffer from fistaphobia". Grodin and DeNiro are a great screen pair in this movie.

that would be any Terrence Malick movie

so many movies, so little time
