Without a doubt has THE best soundtrack ever in a movie

Just every song in this movie is awesome and perfect for the scene, the opening tittle sequence with Cry Littler Sister gives me chills everytime i watch it, then People Are Strange as it shows the town of Santa Carla was amazing. Lost In The Shadows as David and the gang is riding their motorcycles on the beach, just every scene with a song gives me chills, even the background songs thats playing on a radio or something is good.

I just can't think of 1 single song i dislike in this movie, its the perfect soundtrack.

I’d probably go with the Highlander soundtrack, but this one is right up there too.

I prefer Repo Man and The Harder They Come soundtracks.

The Boat That Rocked
Pulp Fiction
The Graduate
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Goodfellas
I'm Not There
Kill Bill Vol 1 and 2
Manhattan
2001: A Space Odyssey
Still Crazy

...I've got a few doubts...

The Lost Boys has a great soundtrack, no doubt, but I don't think it's definitive. It's eclipsed by the majesty in 2001's classical pieces. Maybe that's not fair, but all that great stuff on The Boat That Rocked or Simon & Garfunkel ruling The Graduate's soundtrack... I think Lost Boys has competition.

I still believe Tim Capello. Another great tune from this soundtrack

I think The Lost Boys soundtrack was a good product for its time. Dated and cheesy now, though. As a teen, seeing this cool take on the vampire genre for the first time, the music choices did add to the mood of the scenes. But I can’t see myself liking or playing any of those ridiculous songs in the here and now.

Maybe dated, and cheesy, but I still love it and the songs still have a rotation on my playlist.

Beauty Has Her Way by Mummy Calls is probably my favorite song in the film.
