yes jaws 4 sucks we all know that, but there are a few things that they do get right.

what did you actually like about Jaws 4??

Personally,

The Score is fantastic.

Jake's attack is well handled, for the most part. I like how it goes silent and all you can hear is the rhythmic heartbeat and then Lance Guest's yell for him is effective as he watches his friend get dragged.

the banana Boat sequence people seem to like and isn't too bad.

Depsite here not being there to "witness certain scenes" i actually like the flashback material especially when she is heading for the shark to impale it and it shows Brody from Jaws 1. Almost like she is channeling her husband.

finally the Opening FROM The sharks POV is very creepy. and pretty much all the amity stuff at night is good.

What do other fans think.

Please no " i like when it ended"

seriusly, was there any sequence, techinal aspect, scene, shot, effect, acting moment, that you enjoyed in this movie.

The one part I really like is Michael Caine's reaction when attacked.

"Oh sh*t!"

Cracks me up every time.

Michael Caine is one of those actors whose great in everything he does, and his reaction in that scene is hilarious.

"Damn passengers! You're all the same: complain, complain.....oh sh*t!"

I think the underwater chase and the banana boat attack both had potential to be scary scenes, but the shark looked too fake. At least the shark in the original JAWS had movement and the crew members remembered to keep it wet.

More on topic, Michael Small's score is the best thing about this movie.

1.) Michael Small's score, which is brilliant.

2.) Return of some familiar faces.

3.) Feels like a "Jaws" movie (unlike Jaws 3)

4.) Lance Guest's performance as Michael Brody. FAR more believable than Dennis Quaid's take, and far more likely as to how the elder Brody son would have turned out in life, following the events of the first two movies.

I enjoyed the shark in this movie very much. It is not made so perfectly like the other two sharks, but I would even still prefer it over any CGI shark today. It has even a mimic, can express feelings, anger and even shame. They gave him a more human like face. I dare to say, I observed expressions like shyness in its look, uncertainty, sometimes when it is looking for Mike and observing Jake underwater. Of course this makes it less realistic, but nice to watch.

I liked the beginning, and I did like the scene with the shark attacking regular swimmers with that raft thing. The movie didn't start horribly but it kept going downhill. The ending was a disgrace.
