Soo Underrated
This well directed and acted action packed sci-fi police thriller deserves more credit i personally think it's Excellent
shareWell, it sure fooled the Hell out of me in the beginning. I didn't realize it was a 1980s movie, so when I saw the car chase in the beginning, I thought "Ah Geez, not ANOTHER one!." Turned it off.
A couple of days later, knowing this was a Sci-Fi film, I gave it another shot to see what kind of alien would turn up. Once the bank robber transferred over to the other poor guy alongside of him in the hospital, I was hooked.
Thoroughly enjoyed the film thereafter, especially after my epiphany when Gallagher looks in the mirror and examines his face - just like the bad guy.
The good/funny/great scenes are mentioned elsewhere, and like everyone else, this one goes on my "Favs" list. I'll watch it again in a few months.
One off-the-wall thought ran though my head when the punk was pounding away with the "stripper" in the rocking car. What must have the alien thought when the guy got on top of "her"?
I love the hell out of this movie too! it is indeed highly underrated.
