Was there crying in your theater when Prime died?

I saw it at home on TV, so I unfortunately knew what had happened before hand, I'm just curious if anyone remembers seeing it in the theater, and/or was said theater full of the sounds of children crying ala the end of Passion of the Christ? Which, was the only time I've ever been able to hear multiple people crying in a movie theater.

yeah I remember not having a good day when prime got killed. Another really bad day Star Trek III came out. How the hell could they blow up the Enterprise?? Best version of the ship they ever built. To this day I have issues watching it.

I was 13 when it came out, went to it with a friend of mine, nobody cried that I could hear but did hear some gasps of shock. I was pissed as hell myself, they ruined a super popular franchise while it was still in it's infancy stages by wanting to move things along just to sell more / new toys. If they would have just held off a year or two on the movie and slowly introduced the new characters that they wanted to over the seasons 3 & 4 then done the movie and then killed some of the original ones off I think a lot of people would have handled that better. If they just would have released the G.I. Joe movie first like was what their original plan was they probably would have learn from killing off Duke, which once again was the original plan, they probably would have went back and not killed Prime and many of the other robots.

I saw it opening day. No, I didn't cry, didn't notice anyone else crying either, for that matter, not that I was looking.

The crowd did cheer when Ultra Magnus got wrecked on Junkion. But that's just because a brief projection problem got fixed right when that happened.

I was 7 when I saw it in the theater. Yeah I cried and I heard some other mom a few rows in front of me chuckle. "the robot is flatlining, oh please".

I wanted her to die too, lol
