Is this a generational thing where the humor was funny in the 80s and has dated badly?

Just watched it for the first time too. I always suspected I wouldn't like it, and I was right. I should've listened to my gut. I am now dumber for having wasted 104 minutes of my life on this turd. I couldn't WAIT for it to be over with. Shame on me for not aborting at the 30-minute mark.
shareI walked out on this at the theater, back in '86, when I was 20. I tried watching it again around 10 years ago, and after forcing myself to sit through 30 minutes of it, I decided it still sucked and I quit watching it. 😀
