Why is the rating so low?
This movie is a cult classic.
shareGiven how much I love this movie, 6.7 might not be so bad, is it? But some movies that people generally hate, such as "Pay It Forward", scored higher, and I don't think that's fair.
shareTotally agree - just finished rewatching for thr first time in years and had to revise my 6 to an 8! Reccomend everyone does the same. This qualifies as cult classic if only for the Steve Martin / Bill Murrey scene!!! Genius!

shareSome people just don't dig musicals. Their loss.

Check out the idiotic post about how this is "not even a horror movie" for clues. Probably little horror fanboys who were expecting guts and blood and were disappointed by the fact it's a campy parody of horror movies.
It's a gem but it's definitely not for those guys.

It's not fair. It deserves higher. There are multiple really good songs, and Greene and Moranis are genius. Meanwhile The Dark Knight Rises has an 8.6. GMAB.
shareStupid people go round rating musicals 1/10.
