Not counting pt. 5, this is the beginning of the bad half of the series
I don't watch pt 5 and don't count it. Nor Jason X or FvJ for this purpose.
So then you have 8 films. Parts 1-4. Then parts 6,7,8,9. Parts 1-4 are good old school slashers.
Part 6 is the beginning of the reason you could def consider this series a crock. 6 7 8 9 were so bad!
