More old children's Sci-Fi (I can't remember)

This is a movie I used to love and had completely forgotten about until I stumbled upon it today. Anybody else know of any obscure movies like this I can't seem to remember. Some I've recently rented for my son: Flight of the navigator, Innerspace, the last starfighter.

"The Peanut Butter Solution" is one no one mentioned. Really good and kind of scary from what I remember.
"The Princess Bride" is still really good and way more funny now that I'm an adult. Can't believe no one mentioned that one.
Cloak & Dagger
Goonies
D.A.R.Y.L
Willow
Stand By Me
Some of my faves.

Also a pretty obscure made for TV movie that I loved, The Midnight Hour.

Bill Maher (the guy from Politically Incorrect) was in a made for TV film in the late 1980s called "Out of time" about a time traveling cop. It was meant to be a back door pilot for a TV series, but it never was carried, but I really enjoyed it a lot.

He had a special gun that would wrap a bad guy in plastic wrap as a nonlethal way to capture them, and he had a pair of X-ray glasses that allowed him to see through the scratch off material on a lottery ticket, so he could see which ones were winners. He had to do that to get some legal currency from the 1980s, but a really neat trick in general.
