Without that constant 80's synth music background. Perhaps studios should release special editions of these 80's films with a modern background score. It would make them way less dated

Great works are timeless. Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa is one. Commando is another masterpiece. 10/10
It's a carbon copy of the score to 48 Hours.
James Horner wrote them both so is allowed to rip himself off!
And David Patrick Kelly's in them both
That's an interesting idea. But in this respect, the movie IS the music.
