Who were you in love with?
When I read the book I crushed over Soda, but when I watched the movie I was in love with Dally. Oh Dally, we could have run away together.

While reading the book, I liked Sodapop. While watching the film, I loved Dally. Matt pulled the role off so well. Also, in the book, Dally doesn't sound attractive in the least. It was the complete opposite with the film as Matt was incredibly hot back then. I prefer that look.
sharei liked Ponyboy; he was so sweet and sensitive. and he was going through such a hard time, i just felt for him.
"IMdB; where 14 year olds can act like jaded 40 year old critics...'
Yes, Ponyboy! I love him.
And Darry, especially in the movie. He was so strong and handsome, I just wanted him.
**Michael.JACKSON**
Darryl - Patrick Swayze. He does a handstand on the fence outside the house on the way to the rumble. OMG - he was so fine!
shareSodapop. Darryl, Dallas and Ponyboy were pretty close contenders but not match for soda.

I think when I first read the book, Ponyboy.
Then when te movie was coming out, I had posters of ALL of them on my wall except Matt Dillon and Patrick Swayze. I don't remember why I didnt like Matt as a teen, but in my mind Swayze was an old man!
C. Thomas was the closest to my age
All typos are hereby blamed on my iPad.
I was the same at that age - for some reason, and I'm not sure why, I was not into Matt Dillon.
When I read the book, I was about the same age as Ponyboy and was totally in love with him.
When I saw the movie (at age 16), I still loved Ponyboy, but I also thought Sodapop was about the cutest thing I'd ever seen.
Johnny!
shareDallas in the book, sodapop in the movie
