They're remaking NIMH
Bastards...! :(
shareIt would be unnecessary to remake The Secret of Nimh. It is absolutely perfect as it it. Still gives me chills. I would however like to see a sequel. Timmy to the Rescue doesn't count.
I would like to see what life is like in Thorn Valley. I've read some Fan Fiction that would make a great script. You Hollywood guys wouldn't even have to think very hard.
I certainly hope any remake or sequel is made by Don Bluth. I don't think anyone else would do it justice. Nobody makes an animated film like Bluth.
Should it be a sequel to the movie or an adaptation of the second book? If its an adaptation of the second book wouldn't it make since that they remake the first book first so that there is continuity between movies?
shareThe number of reviews on Amazon for Mrs. Frisby and the rats of the NIMH is higher than the number of reviews for the Secret of the NIHM. The book seems to be more well known than the movie. Since the book is more well known, how could another adaptation be considered a remake of this relatively obscure movie? Do you consider the 1939 version of the Wizard of Oz to be a remake of the earlier silent movies rather than an adaptation of the book?
shareHollywood, stop messing with my childhood!

Really? Not another remake from Hollywood.
