It was my older brother's favorite of the series. He would quote Clubber Lang quite a bit.
But I think Rocky IV has maybe captured the "fan favorite title" in recent years?
For me, I go back and forth between 2, 3 and 4.
I believe 3 and 4 were for a long time and maybe still are. For me, the original is by far the superior film and then I would say 2, 3, 6, 4, 5.
shareI like all the rocky movies equally but for a while part 4 was my favorite... something about the Russian being built up to be this unstoppable machine always made ivan drago the scariest opponent to me, as a younger kid. As an adult though, I don't really see Ivan Drago as the scariest opponent....he was an amateur...and a product of steroid's... completely lab created. Clubber Lang was a street built jacked up mad as hell fighter...who was mad at the system and just didn't give a fuck. Truthfully I don't think in real life that rocky could ever have defeated clubber. And if he by some miracle did, there for sure would have been a rematch.
