What is your favorite scene?

As my favorite movie, it's hard to pick a single favorite scene from this movie. However, if I had to pick, I think the shot of Jake and his entourage going from his dressing room to the ring for the title shot is the best. It's the highlight of Jake's life, and the film does a great job of depicting it as such. The other part that stick out to me is the scene where Jake and Joey run into each other after years of being estranged. It's hard to watch them go from being almost inseparable to not being able to connect with one another.

I laughed out loud at the scene when he's banging the Champion belt to get the jewels on the table and some dishes fall off a bench and Lamotta says to his wife...why do you put them there where they can fall down...lol

I absolutely love the makeup work on De Niro for the older LaMotta. My favorite scene would be his standup and then mingling with the customers at his bar before he's arrested. It's all so beautifully done.

gday,,,, the scene that left the biggest impression on me must've been the De Niro monologue scene,,, it is captivating, intense, and immensely well acted.
