Swan - cool or faggy name ?
The name's too pretty. Also, I'm thinking about how well he would have fit in wearing that leather vest to a gay bar and I'm leaning towards faggy.

I think they were trying to come up with a name that at least suggested Xenophon, given that the story uses the plot of Xenophon's Anabasis. They used names from antiquity (e.g. Cyrus, Cleon, Ajax), but they really couldn't shoehorn Xenophon into 20th century New York City.
