Can't help but notice when you watch a film from this era how much female bodies have changed or evolved from then til now...
They seem to have different pelvis / hip and butt structure than what one would see on a beach today...I know bikini styles have obviously changed but it's almost like evolution made a drastic change in the 30 odd years when it comes to the shape of women...
Squats, lunges,weight-bearing exercises for example. Such workouts weren't really a thing when this movie came out. What was popular back then? Stationary bikes and the Jane Fonda workout perhaps? Not like today's Insanity P90X or bootcamp style workouts.
they definitly have the thicker thigh/ hip area now.. at least aussie women anyway where i am. they develop earlier in terms of thickness and of course the clothing now leaves nothing to the imagination.
really you could say yes women are a lot bigger than they use to be in general.
but i think its pretty clear around the leg area, at least what i find.
I think it is just bikini styles, and dress, or lack thereof now, that makes a difference..... and silicon. Today a movie like this would involve a lot of very, very skimpy bikini's - not saying that would be a bad thing mind you ;)
Yeah, because it is women who commit the most crimes, attack the most people, abandon their families at the greatest rate, look at disgusting imagery on the net....I could go on and on. If women are classless, then what the hell are men?
I don't think many people know about display preferences, vicky. It's amazing how many times I see replies to the wrong poster because of that. The best ones are people who reply to the last post in a thread and for some reason think the OP will get it
Bodies do seem to have changed somewhat - I live where I see a lot of college-age females. They all "take care of themselves" and even the extra-skinny ones and the extra-heavy ones seem "hard" - i.e., very fit. Having said that, there seems to have been a trend in these girls' figures where a beautiful, well defined, curvy calf connects to a thigh which at its thickest point, is barely wider than the calf, resulting in a kind of "Popeye" look. I grew up when beauty standards permitted a more full-figured or voluptuous set of gams, so I suppose I'm using that old standard when I do my looking. No big deal. As long as these young women are healthy, athletic, fit, and happy with their own looks, three cheers for them. I'm just observing that, as others here have posted, bodies seem to have changed over the decades.
