How old and when did you first see this?

Me, I saw it when I was about 10-11, back in the mid 80's. We lived overseas at the time and couldn't get TV stations (save for taped shows sent over by family), so Wizards was one of a few movies I'd rewatch a gazillion times.

I almost wonder if many kids who've grown up on things like Dragonball Z (ugh) think that Wizards is a screwy flick. I still love the trippy effects, weird rotoscoping- and Mike Ploog's and Ian Miller's art still stands today!

I literally just saw it today; age 17. Being a big movie buff, I'd heard about it for about a year or so, but never watched it before.
I really liked it, but I have to say, I wouldn't show it to my children until they reach maybe their teen years. I didn't realize it had Nazi propaganda etc. and because of this, multiple points in the movie had me sitting there going, "Oh, God." Whether in a good or bad way, I couldn't tell you. The voice acting is great, though (early Mark Hamill voice role, and how can you go wrong)and the animation is interesting to look at. Creepy, sure, but that may be because of the combination of rotoscoping and awkwardness in general. I would recommend this film, but not to anyone who values their sanity (luckily I lost mine as soon as I hit the teenage years).

I saw it in the theater when I was 13 when it came out back in the 70's... Being a typical adolescent boy I loved the whole wizard/post apocalyptic fantasy thing and thought it was a great movie. I still own it and probably watch it once a year.

I first saw this on HBO right after it came out in 77 or 78. I was 13.

I first saw this film on VHS back in the early 1980's when I was about eleven or twelve.

Saw this at the UA150 in Seattle. My friend's mom dropped us off for the Saturday matinee while she did some downtown shopping. There were less than a dozen people in the place. They did play the trailer for Star Wars. When I saw Luke, Leia and Obi-Wan's costumes, I thought this was going to be some cheap sci-fi sword and sorcery space movie which I had no interest in. Holy cow, was I wrong on that months later.

I was in college in the 80s, and I don't ever recall seeing an ad for this film in the 70s.

I was 26, and saw it at the cinema in 1977.

Plus, I have seen it several dozen times since, on Beta, VHS, and finally, the DVD I have now.

I try to watch it at least once a year.....

I was 16 and saw it a drive in theater with my older high school buddy who had just turned me on to Yes and Genesis.

Sadly, this may be the most anti-climactic movie ever.
