Because in the genres it's said that the movie is drama/crime/thriller, also on these boards there is not a single post that this movie should be considered as a comedy as well. There were plenty of funny moments in the movie.

That doesn't make the movie a comedy. Real life has humorous moments throughout many different types of situation but they don't definte the whole thing.

By the responses you got I don't think many people, on this board, have a sense of humor in general. I thought the film was very funny.

A movie that glorifies crime and tries to make us side with two flaming fags is far from funny.

Obvious and trite trolling attempt. 2/10

The movie does have some very funny moments. Sad and ironic, but funny. For example, I remember music only twice in the movie. In the opening, and then a few seconds of Looney Tunes music over the small tv-set in the bank. The Looney Tunes music is funny because it underscores how Sonny & Sal's quick, slick, glossy bank robbery is turning into a long, badly drawn cartoon.

I looked in the quotes to see if they had Sonny's (to paraphrase) "I know a lot about a lot of things." quote but I didn't see it. I thought it was funny how he thought he needed to make that clear. Sad, but funny.

Sonny fighting to get his gun out of the flower box is sad, but funny. It foreshadows how things are going to go downhill from there.

Also funny are how people react to their 15 minutes of fame. The head teller being so impressed that she had just been interviewed. The pizza delivery man.

Also in the beginning when the other guy said i'm leaving and Can i take the car - That was hilarious, and the part where one of the girls asked Pacino's charachter =When are you going to let us out(smthing like that). Indeed there was some tragic moments as well but some very funny as well.
