Was Hailey Steinfield a better Maddy Ross?

I personally believe that Hailey Steinfield was a much better Maddy Ross since she had a lot more of sassy personality whereas the one played by Kim Darby was more dry and wooden for me.

Kim Darby. Hailey Steinfeld came off like Wednesday Addams.

I would believe that if Steinfield didn't play a emotionless terminator wannabe. Kim Darby Played a Human Being.

I like both movies and actress on their own merits, but I must say I like Haileyjust a bit better.

I've had a crush on Kim Darby since "Star Trek" so hands down Kim Darby. Hailey did a good job though and I could see where she was going with her acting choice in the roll.

One more vote for Hailey. Kim was okay but I could really see Hailey taking on these grown tough guys.

Kim Darby played a Human Being with Fears and Doubts. Hailey played the emotionless robocop. Ill take Darby over Hailey the emotionless robot.

Hailey Steinfield like a "Terminator wannabe"?

Wow, people nowadays wouldn't know great acting if it hit them. Her performance was perfect, a stern assertive no bull$#it young woman. Darby was too cartoon like in places. She was good and that said I do like the original, and I'm first to dish out the "remakes suck" comments but Mrs. Steinfield was better.

I know it's popular to hate all modern things, but how you can say that performance is bad is beyond me. I have met some very straight forward individuals who behave similar to this. She nailed it and how many girls or boys of her age could have such a screen presence? Not many.

"im beautiful your not" - me
"you're* " - you

When a character show no emotion what so ever and is just out to kill. Then calling that character a Terminator Wannabe. Is not exactly wrong. Hailey didn't show any emotion. She might as well be a robot.

Hailey Steinfield hands down... became a fan of hers from the 2010 version.
