If the under 25's had to vote for their favorite film of the 1960's/70's
Would this and the Godfather films make the top 10?
shareWould this and the Godfather films make the top 10?
shareI'm only 15, Godfather is #1 on my 70s/60s movies, The Good The Bad and The Ugly is #2. Then Taxi Driver as #3, then One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as #4,and Star Wars as #5.
shareDon't forget Lawrence of Arabia
WE ARE THE BORG. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.
I'm 17. It makes #18 on my 60's/70's movie list. Gofather makes #16.
Here's my list(however it's considering all decades):

You see things; and you say Why? But I dream things that never were and I say Why not?
I'm under 20 and this is my favourite film...
1: The Good, the bad and the Ugly
2: Shawshank Redemption
3: 12 Angry Men
All of these were made even before I was born and these are my top 3.
I'm 23. And to me, those 3 movies you mentioned aren't the best of '60s and '70s. I'd choose BABY JANE, THE GRADUATE, IT'S A MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD WORLD, JUDGEMENT AT NUREMBERG and PLANET OF THE APES for the '60s. And I'd choose JAWS and ONE FLEW OVER THE CUCKOO'S NEST for the '70s.
shareI'm 19, and my favourite movie of all time is '2001: A Space Odyssey', but 'The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly' is certainly in my Top 10. 'The Godfather' not so much because I'll admit, I found it a little over-drawn and exacerbated at times.
shareI guess I would have The Godfather, Godfather Part 2, Taxi driver, GBU, Jaws, Fistful of Dollars, For a Few More Dollars, 2001, Star Wars, Apocalypse Now, and To Kill a Mockingbird
No order. I haven't seen some classics like Psycho, but I've seen the major ones. I happen to be 14 and an avid lover of cinema. I just wish my generation wasn't mindless people who warrant the mindless action spewed out for todays audiences.
That's the beauty of argument, if you argue correctly, you're never wrong. -Nick Naylor
The Godfather would definitely be in my top 10,along with(for the 60's and 70's only)Barry Lyndon,2001:A Space Odyssey,Apocalypse Now,Once Upon A Time In The West(which I found better than The Good,The Bad And The Ugly by the way).
shareI'm 20 and as a movie fan it's not hard to see that the 60s-70s is probably the best era of hollywood movies.
Saying godfather and TGBAU are in my top 10 would be too cliche. They are great but there's too many to pick from.
