First woke TV show
this show was ahead of its time, a DIVERSE CAST, a gay person and even a russian.
sharethis show was ahead of its time, a DIVERSE CAST, a gay person and even a russian.
shareStrange how today's wokeTARDS like to claim TOS as their own while hating Gene Rodenberry for being a toxic masculine male, and hating the toxic character Kirk for being a white, masculine male. Rodenberry was a former police officer, and we know how much wokeTARDS "love" the police. ZERO gay characters in TOS, just a CLOSETED at the time actor playing Sulu.
shareIf you hate everything Woke... WTF are you doing around the fandom? Trek has been progressive since the get-go, that's what the show is all about!
shareIf TOS was truly woke as wokeTARDS claim, there would be no ALPHA male (Captain Kirk), no attractive women for "Da toxic male gaze," and no intelligent writing. All these things are missing from new wokeTARD Trek series like "Discovery" and "Picard." Also TOS has no openly gay characters, you can't call a series that has no openly gay characters "woke." Sorry, NEWB.
shareLets just discuss progressive for a moment. The women on average were treated like sex objects. Even the Romulan Commander in The Enterprise Incident strutted around in thigh high boots. I know. I know. Romulans are passionate people. Progressives like to say that the counter to war is peace. But yet we see in episodes such as A Private Little War the answer to war is to elevate the technology used. Progressives like to say live and let live. Yet in A Taste of Armageddon the approach of letting infrastructure carry on at the cost of lives is found abhorrent. Putting 20th Century Western morals front and center in dealing with an alien culture.
shareDifferent episodes, different writers had different messages.
Sure, some episodes like Let that be your last battlefield, might have had an anti-war message,
but other, written by other writers, such as a Balance of Terror, supported the polices of proxy wars and the Cold War.
Some episodes had political themes and messages, but the messages were not all one direction, the other side was not presented as evul for not immediately agreeing, the FANS were not attacked as being bad, ect. ect. ect.
People who are confused about anti-woke people, liking a show that had diversity or even some left leaning messages in some episodes,
Are failing to understand what WOKE really is, and WHY we are angered and opposed to it.
None of that classified as “woke” by today’s sledgehammer standards.

First? No, I'd give that award to The Andy Griffith Show.
There were a LOT of episodes where Andy got his ass handed to him for being obtusely male, starting from the first season with Ellie.
Thank you! For being a voice of fact and reason in the middle of this trivial, paint-by-numbers site largely populated by the home-schooled, the stoned (I’m looking at you, Joogle) and the brainwashed (not that there is much to have washed).
It’s GOTTA be hard, going through life in such an intellectual fog. “You want fries with that?” “Uh, wait. Let me think . . . “
Reading this crap, I often wonder if we have any minds left to waste.
