Best Bond line in the entire series

Whatever people think of this film i know it has flaws but i think this is the best version of the Connery Bond.

There are several great one liners that he has in this but for me the best part of the film and indeed the entire franchise for me is after he sleeps with Spectre woman and she pulls a gun on him, he dents her ego by telling her he only slept with her for Queen and Country and took no pleasure.

She then vollies back with a scolding sarcastic tirade designed to bruise his Ego in a self aware moment from the writers acknowledging the absurdity of this man able to just swoop in with his charm and cast spells over any resisting female, ruining our fantasy and image of our hero, then just when you think he's been defeated and the empowered feminist has won the day he composes himself like a true champion and nonchalantly says

'Oh well, you can't win them all' - Cue Bond's theme striking up

That scene epitomizes the character for me and is why Connery will always be the GOAT

This is the movie that made it clear Bond movies would be around for a long time.

Best line i “No, Mr Bond, I expect you to die”

My favourite line is at the end of Moonraker, when a satellite link is established with Bond's space shuttle and it's turned on to show Bond is floating about in space, entangled with Goodhead, with just a sheet covering them.

M says something like "Dear God! What is Bond up to?" and Q replies:-

"It looks like he's attempting re-entry!"

Cue much laughter, as it seems like what we have here is a double entendre as the space shuttle is re-entering the Earth's atmosphere and at the same time Bond might be trying to get his... Well you know 🤣.

Haha Touché

Sexual innuendo's are the highest form of wit

The thing that makes that line even more amusing is the fact that it's not even a double entendre from Q's perspective. He's watching the same feed as everyone else, so when he says:-
"It looks like he's attempting re-entry!"

He's peering closely and talking about only one thing!

That's not even the best line in the movie.

The best one is when Bond sets Fiona's body into a chair after she took a bullet meant for him and says to the person next to him, "Do you mind if she sits this one out? She's just dead!"

reply

Fiona: [after Bond finds her in the bathtub in his hotel room], "Since you're here, would you mind giving me something to put on?"
[Bond casually hands Fiona her shoes]
Not a line per se, but amusing. That exchange has stuck with me.

Rajneesh: "Take life easily, lovingly, playfully, non-seriously. Seriousness is a disease, the greatest disease of the soul and playfulness the greatest health."

My dad has always maintained that Bond's "She's just dead!" later on in this same movie is the greatest one-liner in all history.

Not sure I'd go that far, but it takes a lot to impress my dad!

Not the best line, but how about when the woman in the bathtub asks for her clothes and he hands her her shoes.

That same woman says to him, after driving like a maniac, "Some men don't like to be driven," to which Bond says, "No, some men just don't like to be taken for a ride."

Then there's Domino saying, "What sharp little eyes you've got," to which Bond says, "Wait until you get to my teeth."

I absolutely love this movie. The final battle is a little too long, but other than that, this movie is Perfection.

My second favorite Bond after From Russia with Love.
