Days of Heaven
8 1/2
Fanny and Alexander

Sound of Music
Fiddler on the Roof
Almost Famous
Heartburn
De-Lovely
Julie and Julia (not a master class great movie, but I so love seeing Meryl Streep play Julia Child)
Gosford Park

I'm really surprised Days of Heaven is not on people's lists. Glad to see that My Life as a Dog is. In Houston back in the 80s, there was a dollar art movie multiplex (heaven!) that played My Life as a Dog on one of the screens for seven months. I saw it so many times, I can't put it on my favorite list because I'm still tired of it, 25 years later. I'm sure there are some masterpieces out there I'm not thinking of.
