The Trial
Notorious
Sante Sangre
8 1/2
My Life To Live
Sherlock Jr.
Through a glass darkly
Bob Le Flambeur
The Apartment
Being There

(I did limit myself to one film a director which was mainly to make it a bit easier upon myself. Although it didn't help all that much. I was kinda in a more humurous mood today (as one can see by my choice of "The Apartment" over Sunset Blvd. or The Lost Weekend.) and can't deny that this seems like a silly exercise however much fun it might be. And I will defend Sherlock Jr. as to being one of the greatest films made to my bitter end.)

reply

1) The Big Lebowski
2) Leon
3) City of God
4) The Matrix
5) Donnie Darko
6) Pulp Fiction
7) Team America: World Police
8) Ninja Scroll
9) Princess Mononoke
10) The Incredibles

I reckon these are my top ten favourite films.
