If you think it's the best show from the '60s...
what would be #2? I'd go with The Invaders.
shareRather surprised that "Maverick" and "77 Sunset Strip", two shows also created by Roy Huggins haven't even been mentioned while "Rawhide" is right up at the top of the list with "The Fugitive" and "Combat".
shareI put The Andy Griffith Show as the best. Wild Wild West, Star Trek, Twilight Zone, are all up there.
shareBeing in Canada, and a little bit younger than some here, I didn't see most of the programs that were on in the late fifties / early sixties.
However, from what I have seen.... I'd go with "The Outer limits".
"Peyton Place", "Twilight Zone", "Sea Hunt" and "Flipper".
And for the 50's my # 1 is "Yancy Derringer".
The Prisoner would be #1.
share"The Invaders" was a fine show. But I'd have to go with "The Untouchables" as no. 2- or no. 1 with "The Fugitive as no. 2.
On balance I have "The Fugitive" as no. 1 and "Untouchables" as no. 2. Maybe "The FBI" as no. 3.
Bonanza
shareMy other favorites were
Combat
I Spy
Ironsides
Outer Limits
Wild Wild West
