Totally baffled as to why this guy is a movie star.

He is so weird looking. His nose looks like it is about 8 inches long, and he looks like Pete Townshend of the Who. His career sure seems to be going gangbusters through.

Totally agree. This dude is an absolute non-actor. Stupid face, stupid acting, everything about him is stupid. He should be flipping burgers at BK.

A lot of people find him attractive. Also, whatever one thinks of his acting, he's pretty charismatic and interesting irl.

He's very tall and built on a large scale and I think a lot of women really like that. I don't get it, personally, but I know lots of women who think he's very attractive.

He is meant to represent and appeal to the gormless, effete, worm-like modern male archetype of the post-Gen X generations.

He's an actor, not a movie star. There's a difference.

He's definitely a mixed bag of acting ability. He is useless as Kylo Ren but that's probably because the role and character are so flat and boring to begin with. I've seen him in a handful of dramodeys and family films and he just doesn't fit the roles as much as I would like.

He seems like a level-headed enough feller though and not a self-mocking car crash like Pete Davidson who also gets a lot of high profile roles.

I thought Adam Driver was really good in "Marriage Story" ... but that was an exceptional movie with story and writing and acting. I just think it is weird that he is not the classical moviestar type.
