Is her time up?
Since Bombshell flopped she hasn't had another hit.
shareMarian might be good. She has her on production company now so all she needs is the right story to make a movie about.
shareShe'll go the way of Heather Graham in time.
shareConsidering that Bombshell came out towards the end of 2019 and most productions were shutdown in 2020, I would say no.
I'm not even sure if you can say Bombshell was a flop even though the film does look awful, I haven't seen it. Looks like it cost 30 million and made 60 so with marketing, it probably broke even.
“Considering that Bombshell came out towards the end of 2019 and most productions were shutdown in 2020, I would say no.”
My thoughts exactly.
Just who HAS had a hit in 2020? And while we’re at it, why do people have an obsession with speculating about the end of a talented actor’s career? Is it because they themselves feel dissatisfied with what they have achieved in their own life or are they just essentially miserable bastards? 🤔
Miserable bastards.
So what?
Considering that Bombshell came out towards the end of 2019 and most productions were shutdown in 2020, I would say no.
You're missing the point. The film's release was not effected by Covid. She put out a film at the end of 2019 and didn't release something in 2020 due to productions being shut down. You can't say she is irrelevant because she hasn't had a film since Bombshell. It came out just prior to most productions being shutdown.
shareOkay, thanks.
shareShe made the mistake of squirting out a rug rat. Once that happened her looks were put in jeopardy, if you notice the actresses that maintain their look the longest are the ones that forego having kids. Having a kid changes a woman's body and I'm betting Robbie is now headed down the road of playing soccer moms on TV shows... which is where she really belongs because she isn't that good of an actress.
shareShe is married but I don't think she has any children. You might be thinking about Natalie Portman.
shareYIKES.🙄
shareHer 15 mins of fame are up, she is just the current "IT girl" just like Jennifer Lawrence was.
shareShe's never been much of a Box Office draw on her own (to be fair, 99% of women aren't.) She's only a big success when she's acting with someone bigger and better than her (Will Smith, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, etc.)
shareProbably. She hasn't been in a moneymaking movie in quite some time, and I don't think the film industry is going to have a post-2020 revival, so budgets will be smaller, acting jobs will be short, and there are plenty of actresses out there who can offer everything Robbie does and for a lot less money.
