When the brainwashing is that powerful, it takes time and sophisticated deprogramming to free them.
Sometimes, compelling evidence, science, and reasoning is not enough as they need to find it on their own.
It can be very hard at times to change your mind. We certainly have all experienced that at some point.
But we shouldn't be disappointed or feel defensive about it. We should be open to learn and change our mind or approach.
