meh i have a feeling that ur just being oversensitive gabrielXL.
being compared to a renown actor like johnny depp would never be insulting. Sure actor want to make their own mark on the industry, but Huston has not really made much of a mark nor has he done very many critically acclaimed or overly successful franchises/movies/tv shows.
So to be compared to someone who has had insane amounts of exposure, is no different than saying "Hey i think you are a lot like someone who is widely liked by critics/the public, widely considered handsome, and is an all round successful/likeable guy."
Why would someone be offended by that?? The only reason someone would be offended by that, or think someone is out of place for saying it is if they hated johnny depp, or if johnny depp was not so widely respected/successful.
Its not like you would have a basketball player get offended if someone said they played like Kobe bryant or Michael jordan. Dont forget that acting is a skill.
