Screw the tape, I want shoot a sex scene with Alex, LOL. I read that the scene he shot was where Anastasia loses her virginity to Christian.

Gus is a very talented and award winning director and the fact that he picked Alex over actors to shoot this scene with is a huge compliment to Alex!

Oh yea - I totally agree. Gus is a great director. Alex is a great actor. I would be too nervous to do that with Alex - although I did hug him.

I have a feeling the video is going to get leaked. Or at least one of the scenes. I heard he shot the scene with several different actresses. I'm curious to know who. I don't understand why they won't reveal their names.

I think he'd be perfect as Christian personally. I've thought so all along. He's exactly how I picture the character.

It doesn't surprise me in the least that Alex was chosen to do this by a director.

I've read the book and he is PERFECT for the part. Even before I read this book and saw the description of Chrisitian Grey, Alex immediately came to mind, primarily due to his good looks. If you go online almost every girl who has read the book and seen Alex's picture (even if they are not quite familiar with his work) agree that he would be a perfect Christian Grey.

I honestly cannot see any other actor who is more perfect to play Christian Grey. Alexander Skarsgard a close second, but Alex Pettyfer is light years ahead for this role. In terms of his look, his manner, his age (even though he's 23 he can easily pass off as 28 as he looks older), his background (like Christian he comes from quite an affluent background) everything.

They need to get the casting of Christian Grey right due to this books popularity and Anastasia Steele's constant reference to CG being so ridiculously handsome and arrogant. If they get it wrong this film could easily falter. For many who have read this book or are even familiar with who Christian Grey is Alex Pettyfer is the right choice and perfect embodiment for this role.

It'll also be an excellent career move for Alex as this film without a shadow of a doubt will make him a massive superstar due to the loyal fan base and popularity of the book.

I still think that whoever plays Christian Grey is facing an uphill battle, but if they actually get a good director, it might be decent.

I agree, but I think because so many people have read the book and due to its popularity they absolutely need to get the casting of Christian Grey right. Anastasia not so much, but if they mess up with Christian Grey it would have lost some weight with the story as Anstasia in the book keeps going on and on and on about how good looking he is.

I remember watching Stephanie Meyer on Oprah and she was saying for the casting of "Twilight" the casting for Edward Cullen was the most important. Not so much Bella Swan as we were seeing the story from her perspective.
