Which he demonstrably was. He tried his utmost to demonise mail-in voting (despite voting by mail himself), and tried his best to sabotage the postal service so as to cause delays. And then he tried - but thankfully failed - to stop the counting on election night. He even appealed to the Supreme Court. Why is this significant? Because most states have a policy to count direct votes first, and then count the mail in votes. This ensures that if there are any delays, it's the mail-in voters who get the short end of the stick. Some states won't even count the mail-in ballots until the polls close.
Factor in the fact that Biden told his supporters to stay safe, avoid crowds and vote by mail, and Trump telling his supporters not to vote by mail, and Bob's your uncle.

In addition to what NorrinRad said, there's the Mueller report which concluded that there was indeed Russian interference, quite a bit of it, but that it did not impact the election in such a way as to alter the outcome. But, and I am reiterating what NorrinRad also pointed out here, no one ever said anything about interfering with the election process itself.

What's more is that if it had no material impact and you have no substantial evidence that it altered the election process then there was no significant, substantial, or noteworthy interference, especially compared to the 2020 elections.
The word interference means: the action of interfering or the process of being interfered with.
