Did the failed assassination attempt secure Trump the election?

What say you?

I think it very well may have.

reply

Yes, but it was pretty much a sure thing anyway as long as either Biden or Kamala was his opponent.

reply

As far as the sure thing before the hit job that is, I’m not so sure, I’ve heard a great many people say they would rather have vegetable Biden as President rather than Trump.

reply

Yes I've also heard people say they would vote for a ham sandwich over Trump. Maybe a ham sandwich could be put on the ballot. It would get at least a few votes, maybe enough to sway the election.

Lol

The sad thing about Trump being the Republican candidate is the fact the Republicans are the new Yellow Dog voters. 🤦🏼‍♀️ We’ll vote for someone who’s been convicted of a crime over someone who is failing mentally. How in the hell did the country get into this mess? Look at the two choices. I voted for Trump twice, but I wanted him to just fade away. How in the hell did he become the Republican candidate? We had many other options. 🙇🏼‍♀️

As an aside for those who wish Trump was murdered…you’re just as evil as the shooter! When Biden slipped and fell three times while boarding Air Force One, I hoped he wasn’t hurt. I don’t like the guy, but I would never wish harm on him. To me, he’s pitiful. I have empathy for the man. Maybe it’s due to me seeing what Alzheimer’s does to the loved ones, maybe it’s also due to my age. Dear Lord, I’m going to be 81 tomorrow, the 14th of July. Bastille Day.

Agreed on all accounts.
The fact that the USA in 2024 has Biden v Trump for POTUS is both disturbing and highly concerning.
