Why do "artists" insist on burdening their offspring with the worst names? How do they sleep at night? Are they really that wrapped up in themselves that they can't see the damage they are doing with these names?

They are horribly weird names. Though as far as celebrity baby names go, they're on the more moderate end of the spectrum.
Atom could also be seen as a unique spelling of the name Adam. And hey, if you have kids, give them more traditional sounding names. I don't really see anything wrong with Solo or Atom, I think the names are cute and it may help to shape more unique individuals, rather than the clones of society one so often sees.
shareWe have a difference of opinion. I think give the kids a chance in life and not saddled with ignorant stupid names that have them stand out in the strange way. Children do not want to be the odd kid out, strange spellings, strange names. Just ask them. They alway have to spell or repeat their names everywhere they go. It affects them, and reflects poorly on the 'parent' that wanted attention.
