RIP Grant
Sad to see the news that Grant passed away from a sudden brain aneurysm. He was such a brilliant person and I loved watching his work on Mythbusters. RIP Grant.

shareWow, this is so sad.
shareRIP, Robot Warrior and all-around cool guy!
He was so clever and sweet-natured on "Mythbusters" that he was a Pretend Boyfriend of mine, he sponsored local robot-fighting teams (a great way to get STEM scholarships for low-income kids), he built and ran R2D2 for the Star Wars prequels, and was just an all-around wonderful guy. By all accounts, he was incredibly nice to fans and humans in general, and was the sort of guy the world needs more of. Damn.
Oh no, 2020 is cursed.
shareThat's sad I remember watching this show years ago and he was so much fun an loved what he did :(
r.i.p.
RIP Grant ,
what a talented guy :(
Most unfortunate.
shareI feel so bad for him :( I like him too! I always thought he and Tori looked cute, and their personalities added fun dynamics to the show. It was also fun watching Grant build robots, or hearing that he got the job on Mythbusters by winning in "Robot Wars." It was especially interesting to see how he and Tori reacted so differently to things like spicy food or alcohol. I was also delighted to see photos of Grant working on models for some of the Star Wars prequels. A short time after "The Mandalorian" came out, Grant posted a picture on social media of a Baby Yoda he built for himself. He did a very good job with the replica.
It's so sad too, he was only 47. That's a young age to die in these times. I even heard he had a wife by then, poor girl. My brother says that if you have a brain aneurysm at that young an age; it's genetic and was basically a ticking time bomb in your head that was gonna go off randomly at some point in your life.
You will be missed, Grant :`(
