The film Joe shot earlier this year with Sir Michael Caine, will be having its World Premiere as a Special Presentation at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday September 12th. Details and images from the film (two of which are of Joe looking pretty messed up!) can be found on the official TIFF website. http://tiff.net/filmsandschedules/films/harrybrown It is also listed as one of the '10 Most Sought After Titles' at the festival.

There was also a three-page spread on Harry Brown in the most recent edition of EMPIRE. Again, there was a picture of Joe! It will be released on November 13th and EMPIRE's review will be in the December issue.

I thought he was brilliant in Harry Brown. It was a complete departure from the cheeky rogue he plays in Emmerdale and the big brother figure in This is England. Quite scary in a way, but it showed he could push the boundaries.
