Unwanted hugs lol. The image in my mind right now is of him hugging a woman in the office while looking down at the floor smiling like a happy schoolboy... while she stands completely still with a "wtf" look on her face, wanting to move away -- and he just keeps on hugging.
But seriously, there must be more than just hugs, no? It's hard to fathom that he didn't read the signs that these hugs were "unwanted".
I may very well be in the vocal minority here, but, sexual harassment or not, I actually believe Lasseter leaving Pixar AND more importantly Disney, itself, COULD have some good effects, hypothetically. LONG before the sexual allegations arose, J.L. was speculated by a fair few on the now tragically extinct IMDb boards how it seems unlikely in retrospect that he ultimately intended for 2D films to be resurrected at all; he just greenlit the EPIC "Princess and the Frog" and contrastingly stupid final-nail-in-the-fucking-coffin, "Winnie the Frick" to at very least UNDERPERFORM before shamelessly sacking the numerous 2d animators and ultimately becoming a greedy, seedy, suspicious money-wanter. He's effectively hit an apex of that, by not ONLY abandoning 2D, but NOW largely abandoning new stories for the sake of CASHING IN on heinously inferiorly done "reboots".
Sicko! Glad he's at LEAST gone for six months at this rate. Hopefully that, AND Bob Iger's already scheduled resignation next year, will only do both companies BETTER in the end... >:/
