Cosby had an angle to play sense his own testimony that was used against him had only been given in a prior case under the agreement of the prosecutor that it would not be used against him in an later case... I don't see any angle like that with Kelly. He has spent so much money already in the previous cases and in this one, and given he's pretty much a persona non grata for radio play lists... I would expect he isn't going to have the finances to continue fighting this forever. The writing was on the wall that he was going down long before the verdict. His best hope for any leniency was to strike a deal with the prosecutor before the verdict. At this point he's pretty much fucked.

I'm guessing he won't last long whether he takes himself out or someone else does it, who knows. I would expect he won't enjoy becoming someone's bitch in prison and will decide to hang himself.

I guess you didn't follow the trial and investigation that went on earlier in Chicago. He's been using his money to stay out of prison for years, but his OJ strategy of using money to avoid being found guilty finally came to an end in this case.
